How To Maintain Your Website Traffic

By Ron George

You can give your website traffic a shot in the arm today. Pay per click is an option that is evident and plain, so we should consider some means that are free of cost to improve your traffic. Blogging is the most obvious example and if you don't already own a blog you can set one up today for zero cost. Write a post or posts with keywords involving your issue and then make use of the ping services to publicize them. These services will broadcast your link to many blog directories and sites. The more you pursue it the more will your website traffic be but you will get results instantly.

Post on Forums - there are many forums in existence dealing with most subjects where you can get free registration. If you want to find benefiting forums, search on Google using your keyword and the word forum and then check the results to choose from. As you are not allowed to straight away promote your site, write down to earth posts, offering help and advice, saying something with the popular threads and you will find people checking out your site on the same day at no cost.

Article writing - for quality monitoring purposes, some article directories run through it before posting while others do not so you can find an article with a link to your site the same day. Other people pick it up and put them on their site along with your credentials at the bottom linking to your site.

Digg it - Digg is a great site for posting small snippets or synopsis of your blog post, article post or matter from your web site. It appears soon on their on their illustrious and top-line pages as it offers a powerful assistance to increase your website traffic.

Email your list - what do you mean you don't have a list yet? The astounding fact is that lots of people on the web have not done anything to make their own email list. Having a prepared list gives you the opportunity to make advance preparation for sending out messages or emails to everyone simultaneously to visit your site and gain from the latest special privileges or advice and hence upgrade your website traffic in a flash.

Joint venture may sometimes succeed in a day but not at another time. If you receive a bulletin from another website which suits your needs, then why not see if you can offer something of advantage to them and their customers as a means of reciprocation. Preferably this would be something you would do to offer some value - a free report, a product to sell and you would share the profits with the list owner. Some even claim to have thousands of names on their lists so that they may expedite the amount of traffic to their web site.
