One Way Links? Why are they important?

By Brent Sweet

Link building is something that is very important whenever you are starting up your own website. You have to think, there are millions of websites that go out everyday, how can you make your website stand out among the rest? The answer is link building. Today we are going to talk about link building and how to build free one way links like the pros. This is going to get your website noticed by the search engines a lot quicker and have you ranked above those other guys before you even know it.

First of all, you have to understand what one way links are before you can start link building. Have you ever clicked on a link that took you to a website, then when you go back to click on that link again, you go to a different website? Yeah, those are not one way links. These are links that are set up with other websites, and they are all paying to share that one link. This is not good, because your website is not always going to get credit for that link, thus it is not worth paying for. What you want is one way links to your website and nothing else. These are links that you want to get out there on other websites, because it is going to help you to achieve a better ranking for your site in the organic search engine results.

Now that you know a little bit more about one way links, you need to know how the pros get it done. Well first of all, they do not submit their web links to just any website. You have to note that this is actually, in the end, going to hurt your ranking with search engines. You need to have your links on trustworthy sites and sites that have been out there for a long time. Not only that, but you have to get your links on websites that are actually related to your website niche. For example, if you have a website about web hosting, then you are going to want to link to other websites that talk about web hosting or starting up a website.

You are not going to want to link to a fishing website that has nothing to do with your website, unless that fishing website has a section about starting up your own website.

The pros never link to a website that is not related to their website, because that is a wasted link that could count against you.

To Your Success!
